Indian chief is finished.

Last touch was the speedo. I went for a shake down run and everything was great bar the speedo wasn't working.

It turned out to be the drive unit on the front wheel; the centre was missing and the inner composite wheel had broken. 

All working correctly now.

Munster delights

Kevin and I went to see Gerhard and Christian in Munster, Germany.  I got to know them through buying an old bike, usual thing.

This is just part of the collection.

Gas tank

1916 gas tanks.  An original paint example and a new repop.  The original looks great but it would be wrong to paint it and fit it to a restoration.

Very nice repop tanks. Excellent fit.

16J Foot clutch

My 16J build has an original HD clutch rocker but it is the single speed version.
I picked up this repop from Christian Henn.

He also had the correct foot-board rail that the rocker sits on.

Ferry from Hull to Rotterdam, 600 kms to Mannheim, Germany and well worth the visit.  It was a lot wetter this year than last but still a great source for hard to find parts.

We called in to the Yesterdays showroom in Nederweert, Netherlands on the way ... excellent.
